Prescription Treatments
We offer prescription services for a range of conditions. Walk in or call and make an appointment to get tested and/or treated on-site.
COVID Treatment - For COVID-19 treatment, you can test at home and bring in your positive COVID-19 result or pick up one of our over-the-counter COVID-19 tests and get tested conveniently in-pharmacy. May be available in our pharmacies in all states except AR, LA, OK, and TX.
Flu/Strep Test and Treat - Our pharmacy staff can test for flu or strep. If you get sick with flu, influenza antiviral drugs may be a treatment option. They work best when started early. In most cases, antibiotics will quickly wipe out the bacteria causing the strep infection. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, IL, MT, and VA.
Topical Acne - These medications work in different ways—reducing inflammation, killing acne-causing bacteria, or encouraging the shedding of dead skin cells. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, and MT.
Anti-Nausea - Our pharmacists can prescribe anti-nausea medication for general nausea needs or nausea caused by a medication you make take. For travel-related motion sickness, your pharmacist can work with you to develop a preventative care plan that may include one or more treatment options. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, IL, and MT.
Cold Sores - Cold sores generally resolve within a few weeks. Antiviral drugs may be prescribed for faster healing. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, and MT.
Eyelash Growth - There are topical medications available to help with eyelash growth. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, and MT.
Head Lice Treatment - Pharmacists can prescribe treatments to help eliminate head lice infestations. Treatment should be applied as soon as lice are detected to prevent spreading. May be available in CO, ID, MT.
Migraine - Your pharmacist can develop a care plan that may include one or more treatment options. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, IL, and MT.
Nicotine Cessation - Many of these medications work to control nicotine cravings or act as nicotine replacements to aid in quitting smoking. May be available at our pharmacies in CA, CO, ID, IL, IN, MT, NM, and OR.
OTC Medications - Our pharmacists can prescribe OTC products to patients. May be allowed in our pharmacies in CO, ID, MT, OR, and VA. Types of supplies prescribed vary by state.
Pink Eye - Pink eye can be allergic, bacterial or viral. Our pharmacists can prescribe topical antibiotics or anti-histamines to help treat allergic and bacterial pink eye. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, IL, and MT.
Diabetes Supplies - Our pharmacists can prescribe diabetes supplies to patients. May be allowed in our pharmacies in CO, ID, MT, OR, VT, and VA. Types of supplies prescribed vary by state.
Glucagon - Low Blood Sugar Pen - This medication is used in emergencies to treat very low blood sugar. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, IL, and MT.
Statins in Diabetes - If you have diabetes, you’re at a higher risk for heart disease and stroke. A statin may be prescribed to lower cholesterol. May be available at our pharmacies in ID.
Birth Control - Pharmacist prescribing services may be available at our pharmacies in AR, AZ, CA, CO, DE, HI, ID, IL, IN, MA, MD, MT, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OR, UT, VA and VT.
Emergency Contraceptives - Pharmacist prescribing services may be available at our pharmacies in VA.
Eyelash Growth - There are topical medications available to help with eyelash growth. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, and MT.
Prenatal Vitamins - Prescription strength prenatal vitamins come in multiple formulations. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, MT, and VA.
UTI - A urinary tract infection (UTI) affects any part of the urinary system, including kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra. It should be treated immediately. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, and MT.
Yeast Infection - Taking an antifungal medication for 3 to 7 days will usually clear a yeast infection. Our pharmacists may prescribe a one-time, single oral dose medication. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, and MT.
Bacterial STI Post-Exposure Prophylaxis - Pharmacists can prescribe post-exposure prophylaxis to help prevent bacterial sexually transmitted infections (STIs) like syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia. It must be taken within 72 hours after exposure. May be available in CO, ID, MT, OR.
Epinephrine Pens - This medication is used in emergencies to treat very serious allergic reactions to insect stings/bites, foods, drugs or other substances. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, IL, MT, VA and WY.
Flu Prophylaxis - Flu prophylaxis is medicine for people at high risk for flu complications who was recently in close contact with someone who has the flu. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, IL, and MT.
HIV Pre and Post Exposure Prophylaxis - PrEP, or pre-exposure prophylaxis, is medicine people at risk for HIV take to prevent getting HIV from sex or injection drug use. PrEP can stop HIV from taking hold and spreading throughout your body. PEP, or post-exposure prophylaxis, is a short course of HIV medicines taken very soon after a possible exposure to HIV to prevent the virus from taking hold in your body. May be available at our pharmacies in CA, CO, DC, ID, IL, MT, NV, OR, and VA, per state requirements.
Lyme Diease Post-Exposure Prophylaxis - Pharmacists can prescribe post-exposure prophylaxis to help prevent Lyme disease. It must be taken within 72 hours after a high-risk tick bite. May be available in CO, ID, MT.
Opioid Overdose Prevention (Naloxone) - This medication is used in emergencies to help reverse an opioid overdose. May be available at our pharmacies in all pharmacies.
Rescue Asthma Inhaler & Spacer - A rescue inhaler dispenses medication to relieve or stop the symptoms of an asthma attack. A spacer is a device that makes an inhaler work up to 75% better. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, IN, IL, MT, OR, and VT.
Men's Hair Loss - There are topical and oral medications available to help slow the rate of hair loss and, whenever possible, stimulate new hair growth. May be available at our pharmacies in CO, ID, IL, and MT.

We will send your primary care physician details about your visit. If you don’t have a primary care provider, we can share some local options.
For most illnesses – like the flu – we will give you a call in a few days to see how you are doing on the new medicine.
We encourage you to call our pharmacists or your primary care provider with concerns about your condition or to ask about side effects. If you need care urgently, please visit the emergency room or call 911.
Most of our services are provided on a walk-in basis. However, we recommend calling ahead to make sure your preferred pharmacy is offering the service you need. Also, they can tell you the best time to come in.
Bring a list of your allergies, medical conditions, and other medications. Tell us about any treatments you’ve had in the past for your condition. And if you have insurance — don’t forget your medical and pharmacy insurance cards.
