Juicy all-beef smashburgers with Sargento® Colby-Jack Cheese are served on grilled brioche buns with onions, barbecue sauce and peppered bacon.

Ingredients: 

  • 1 lb. ground chuck (4 balls)
  • 12 slices Sargento® Colby-Jack Cheese
  • 4 brioche buns, toasted
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 8 slices peppered bacon, cooked
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce

Directions:

Grill onions, then place on bun bottoms. Smash burger balls on a hot griddle, cook 1 minute, flip, season and top with cheese. Cook 30 seconds more. Assemble with bacon and barbecue sauce. Serve.

Nashville Chicken Sandwich with Sargento Pepper Jack Cheese

Grilled to perfection, these juicy chicken burgers pack a spicy-sweet kick from chili crunch, honey and lime juice. Each patty is topped with Sargento® Pepper Jack Cheese, crisp jalapeños and refreshing salsa on a toasted bun.

Ingredients: 

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup chili crunch or chili garlic sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 4 telera buns, split
  • 12 slices Sargento® Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 2 jalapeños, sliced
  • ½ cup peach or mango salsa

Directions

Marinate chicken in chili crunch, lime juice and honey for 30 minutes. Grill buns and set aside with cheese. Grill chicken 6–8 minutes per side, adding cheese near the end. Assemble with salsa and jalapeños. Serve.

Ingredients: 

  • 1½ lbs ground beef
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 slices cooked bacon
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 4 slices sargento® sharp cheddar
  • 1 cup chipotle mayo
  • 4 buns, sliced

Directions:

Form 4 patties, season and grill 5 minutes per side. Top with cheese and let melt. Toast buns, spread with chipotle mayo and layer with lettuce, tomato, onion, burger, and bacon. Serve.
