Directions Ingredients: 1 Just In Time Gourmet Tomato Basil Bread Mix, 1-3/4 cups milk, 1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, combine mix and milk, stirring until just blended (batter will be lumpy). Pour batter into greased 5x8 loaf pan. Pour melted butter over batter. Place loaf pan on a cookie sheet to catch any spillover that may occur. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove loaf from pan, place on cooling rack or serving dish, and serve warm. Serves 10. Baking Options: Bake in greased pans for the time indicated below. Square Pan: 40 to 45 minutes, serves 10. Regular Size Muffin Pan: 12 to 14 minutes, yields approx. 20 muffins. Mini Loaf Pans: 25 to 30 minutes, 3 to 4 loaves. 2 Round Cake Pans: 25 to 30 minutes, serves 10. Optional Recipe: Add 1 pound cooked pork sausage and 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese to bread batter. Prepare as regular muffins or mini loaves. Tip: This bread freezes well! Handy for entertaining or when preparation time is limited.
