How to Prepare: Stovetop: Saute frozen onions in up to 1 tbsp of olive oil. Cover; steam for about 3 to 5 minutes or until tender. Season to taste. Microwave: Place frozen onions into a covered microwave-safe dish. Cook on high for 3 to 4 minutes. Microwave heating times may vary. Drain and season to taste. Great Ways to Enjoy: Diced onions add flavor and depth to nearly every dish. Try spicing up soups, stews, sautes, sauces or roasts with diced onions. Saute diced onions with chopped celery and diced carrots in coconut or olive oil. Add to riced cauliflower, brown rice and black beans or any dish for a complex flavor and splash of color. Keep frozen. Store at or below 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C).
