Directions Basic Cooking Instructions: In a small sauce pan, saute 1 small chopped onion in light oil until browned. Add 1-1/2 cups of couscous and stir until browned. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add enough boiling water or stock to cover couscous, then add one more cup. Cover pan and simmer on low heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve hot.
