Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cook thoroughly. Thawing Instructions: Place product in a dish and thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Cooking Instructions: We recommend using a cooking thermometer. Sausage should always be cooked thoroughly to an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F. Sausage should be cooked from a thawed state. Always use tongs when handling sausage links. Skillet/Pan Frying Instructions: Place sausage links in a pan at medium heat. Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water. Cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove cover and brown evenly, turning links occasionally, for another 8 to 12 min. Cook longer if necessary to fully cook and brown. Lower the heat if they are browning too quickly. For food safety, cook thoroughly to a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Perishable. Previously handled frozen for your protection.
