Directions Melting: (visit Verybestbaking.com for more melting tips): Microwave: Melt 1 cup (6 oz.) morsels in uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on high (100%) power for 1 minute; stir. Morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10- to 15- second intervals, stirring just until morsels are melted. In Saucepan: Melt morsels in small, heavy-duty saucepan over lowest possible heat. When morsels begin to melt, remove from heat; stir. Return to heat for a few seconds at a time, stirring just until morsels are melted. Immediately remove saucepan from heat once morsels are melted. For Dipped Fruit: Melt 1 tbsp. vegetable shortening and 1 cup (6 oz.) morsels as directed above.
