Serving Guide: 1/4 cup (uncooked) = serves 1 person. 1/2 cup (uncooked) = serves 2 people. 1 cup (uncooked) = serves 4 people. 1 cup uncooked rice makes approximately 3 cups cooked rice. Cooking Time: 12 minutes (firm); 15 minutes (soft). Cooking: On the Stove Top: 1. Place 1 cup rice in a saucepan. 2. Add 1-2/3 cups water, bring to a boil and stir. 3. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes or until moisture is absorbed. 4. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes. 5. Fluff with fork and serve. In the Rice Cooker: 1. Place 2 cups of rice into rice cooker. 2. Add water to 3 cup line on the rice cooker. 4. When cooking ends, let stand covered for 5 minutes. 5. Fluff with fork and serve. Store in a cool dry place out of sunlight.
