Directions Baking Instructions: Please don't eat raw batter. You Will Need: For Brownie Batter: 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, melted; 2 tablespoons water; 1 egg. For Cookie Dough: 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, softened (To soften butter, let stand at room temperature for 1-2 hours, or microwave for 10-15 seconds until softened); 2 tablespoons water. 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F for shiny metal or glass pan or 325 degrees F for nonstick pan. Grease bottom of pan. 2. Stir together brownie mix, melted butter, 2 tablespoons water, and egg in a medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan. 3. Stir together cookie mix, softened butter and 2 tablespoons water in another medium bowl until well blended (dough will be stiff). Drop cookie dough by 9 rounded tablespoonfuls onto brownie batter in 3 rows of 3. 4. Bake as directed below or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Let cool.
