Servings: 6; 3 cups oats; 5 cups water; 1/4 tsp salt (opt). Stovetop: 1. Boil water and salt. 2. Stir in oats. 3. Cook about 5 minutes over medium heat; stir occasionally. Microwave (1 serving): 1.
