Microwave: Microwave Directions 1. In a 3 quart microwave safe dish, combine 3-1/4 cups hot water (for saucier product, add an extra 1/4 cup water), 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional), and rice mix. Cover and microwave high for 20 minutes. 2. Stir. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. If your microwave does not have variable settings follow your manufacturer's directions. Simmer: On Stove Directions 1. Bring 3-1/4 cups of water (for saucier product, add an extra 1/4 cup water) and 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional) to a boil in a medium saucepan. 2. Stir in Mahatma® rice mix. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand about 5 minutes. Stir before serving.
