Directions For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 160 degrees F as measured by an instant-read food thermometer. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Stove-Top Directions: Heat 1/4 cup water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Add carrots. Cover; cook over medium-high heat 7 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked. Drain. Microwave Direction: Important do not microwave in bag. Pour carrots and 1 tablespoon water into 1-1/2-quart round microwavable casserole dish. Cover; microwave on high according to chart, stirring halfway through cook time, until thoroughly cooked. Caution: Hot! Uncover carefully; stir well. Drain. Microwave Wattage (Microwave wattages vary; adjust cook time for the wattage of your microwave): 1200 Watts: 6 minutes on high. 1000 Watts: 8-1/2 minutes on high. 700 Watts: 9-1/2 minutes high. Do not leave microwave unattended. Keep frozen.
