- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup Lucerne™ Eggnog
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- extra nutmeg for garnish
Preheat oven to 300º. In a stand mixer combine butter with sugar and brown sugar until creamy. Add egg, vanilla and eggnog mixing until combined.
In a separate bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. With mixer on low speed, add flour mixture in small portions until completely incorporated.
On parchment lined baking sheet, drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart. Bake 13-15 minutes. Let cool on rack 2-3 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
