Registered Dietitians

What is a Registered Dietitian (RD)?

A registered dietitian is a food and nutrition expert, your most credible source for information on achieving a healthy lifestyle. Registered dietitians have the education, experience, and skills to help interpret the science of nutrition into practical information. RDs provide medical nutrition therapy and diet education on a variety of diseases.

Why an RD? Your Jewel-Osco RDs have:

• Completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nutrition and an accredited dietetic internship

• Passed a national examination

• Licensure in the state of Illinois and maintenance of continuing education hours
