Cedar-plank grilled salmon has a special flavor, give it a try for a unique barbeque experience. Pick up a packaged cedar plank and seasoning in-store.
Step 1: Soak the single-use cedar plank in hot water for 1 to 4 hours before grilling. The longer the soak, the better.
Step 2: Pre-heat the grill to medium-high heat and coat one side of the plank with oil or non-stick spray. Place the seasoned salmon, skin-side down, on the pre-soaked plank.
Step 3: Place the prepared cedar-planked salmon on the grill indirectly over the heat source for about 20-30 minutes or until it is flaky. Plate the grilled salmon to serve and enjoy.
